    CLASSES

Gargoyle Beads proudly presents a variety of interesting and diverse classes, evenings from 6:30pm-9/10pm and weekend mornings from 9/10am-11am/12pm. Pre-registration required, no walk-ins please. To register please email gargoylebeads@gmail.com or call (206) 579-1320. Our classes feature intimate settings of no more than 6 students and are taught by professionals in the field. Come join us for a session of fun and creativity!

Basic Techniques: Stretch Bracelet
($10, includes materials)
Monday Dec. 12th @6:30pm
   This class is for the complete beginner and will focus
      on learning to use stretch eleastic for bracelets. We
      will be creating a holiday themed or elegant crystal
      bracelet. All ages and levels welcome.

Basic Techniques: Briolet Necklace ($15, includes materials)
Tuesday Dec. 13th  @6:30pm
     This class is for the complete beginner and will focus on learning to use
      flexible wire techniques. We will be creating a briolet pendant necklace
      perfect for the holidays. All ages and levels welcome.                  



Necklace Project: Painted Mother of Pearl Necklace Set
($30, includes materials)
Tuesday Dec. 20th @6:30pm
   This class is for the novice beginner and will focus on making wire loops to
      make earrings and a matching chain segment necklace.  Materials used will
      be colorful painted mother-of-pearl shell discs and natural beads.


Wire Crochet 101 ($40, wire and hook included)
Wednesday  Dec. 14th @ 6:30pm
  Introduction to the professional secrets of wire crochet. In this
   class we will make a single or double strand chain necklace
   and/or earrings with beads using a modifed chain stitch. Class
   fee does not include beads. No experience necessary.


Master Class: The Basics ($85, includes materials/4 class projects)
2 evenings:  Friday Dec 9th and Friday Dec. 16th  
    An extraordinary class that features an overview of every major technique for the serious beginner: using flex wire, knotting with cord, making wire loops and wire coiling/wrapping. Also includes lecture on materials and beads and a 24 page manual. A must for all serious beginners or professionals that would like a solid review of ergonomic efficient production techniques. Taught by seasoned professional who has sold to hundreds of stores, you will learn all the inside secrets to producing quality jewelry you can sell. Adults only. Limited to 5 students.

Let's Make a Watch Bracelet! ($40, includes watchface)
Thursday Dec. 8th @ 9:30am
    Come learn how to make a contemporary bracelet watch using stretch or flexible wire materials. No experience necessary.

Pearl Knotting 101 ($40, some materials included)
Thursday Dec. 15th @6:30pm
    Introduction to professinal knotting techniques that focus on ergonomics, speed and accuracy. In this              class we will make a fully knotted necklace or bracelet. No experience necessary.

Wire Wrapping 101: Intro to Quartz Points & Cages ($45, some materials included)
  Wednesday Dec. 21st @ 6:30pm
   Introduction to the fun art of wire wrapping quartz points and other linear objects using wire and tools. Twist, swirl and cage designs will also be covered in our three project class. No experience required.

Chain Maille 101 ($35, some materials included)
  Call to be placed on waiting list
   Introduction to leaning the ancient art of chain maille. This class will cover various techniques of making rings from scratch, to assembling a beautiful symetrical bracelet or choker. No exerience required.

Open Studio Night ($10)
(call for dates) 6:30pm
    Come join us for our open studio night and work on your projects with the guidance of a trained professional   who has sold thousands of pieces nationwide. Students have full access to tools and books and receive a 10% discount during time of class. Limited to 6 persons.
